Theater Du Jour, a Rochester-based comedy and improvisational theater company, was formed in January 2007 by a group of quick witted comedians with the sole purpose (as they put it) of making you "pee your pants." The name of the group, which comes from the French word de jour meaning "of the day," describes the comedians' desire of crafting improvisational sketch comedy that will literally be of the moment.

The Theater du Jour group also works with several other local theater groups, including It's About Time, the Rochester Civic Theatre, Rochester Repertory Theatre Company and Mantorville Theatre Company as well as CineMagic movie theaters.
