The SPAM Museum, located in Austin, MN, about 35 miles from Rochester, houses 4,752 cans of SPAM from all over the world and throughout the 66-year history of SPAM. The gift shop sells more than 275 different SPAM items to ardent fans of the canned meat product. The 16,500 square-foot facility features sophisticated exhibits and displays pertaining to the history of Hormel foods since its founding in 1891 and its various products, including the world famous luncheon meat.
