Rochester Civic Music's offers a variety of concerts and performances for area musicians and audiences alike. RCM strives to enrich the community and improve Rochester residents' quality of life, through music.

Rochester Civic Music presents live concerts featuring local, national and international acts. “Down by the Riverside” is a free, outdoor summer concert series at Mayo Park behind the Mayo Civic Center on Sunday nights at 7 p.m. during July and August. This series features a variety of musical styles including from classic rock to Celtic, and blues to country.

"Riverside Live!" is a series of ticketed indoor concerts in the Mayo Civic Center between September and May. These concerts feature brass ensemble, folk, classical choir ensemble, jazz and blues bands, new age, concert band and choir, Celtic, and bluegrass music.
Rochester Civic Music is the parent organization of Rochester Civic Music Concert Band and Concert Choir, Swing Street Jazz Ensemble, and Whirlwinds Woodwind Quintet.

Rochester Civic Music is the parent organization of Rochester Civic Music Concert Band and Concert Choir, Swing Street Jazz Ensemble, and Whirlwinds Woodwind Quintet.

The Artists-in-Schools/Community Outreach Program engages artists-in-residence to present school-based lectures/demonstrations and community outreach mini-concerts throughout southeastern Minnesota. The annual Youth Concert Program produces concerts and presents artists to students from across southeastern Minnesota who are bused to Mayo Civic Center to attend these concerts.

Concerts Previews Program educates audience members about specific pieces to be performed, or artists to perform, during an upcoming concert. Designed to be a mini-music appreciation course, each preview features a question and answer period.

Master Classes and Clinics Program provides the community with opportunities to meet professional musicians and for local artists to receive coaching from accomplished artists.
