Seven miles east of Rochester on U.S. 14. It has a 118-acre reservoir with a swimming beach, boating and fishing piers, bathhouse, swimming area, hiking, camping facilities, and lake for nonmotorized use.

Hours: Daily 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., May 18-Oct. 14.
Cost: $5 daily entry fee; $25 annually.

Foster Arends Park has a lake for swimming and fishing. Picnic sites and volleyball courts are also available. Stay within designated swimming areas, as no lifeguards are on duty.

The Rochester Athletic Club (RAC) includes two indoor pools, one lap and one family pool. The RAC also features an outdoor water park, with a zero-depth entry, water geysers, and a 200 ft water slide.

The Rochester Area Family YMCA offers an assortment of dynamic recreation activities and programs for people of all ages. The summer of 2007, the YMCA opened their new aquatic center, including a warm water recreational pool, water slide, zero-depth entry, a deck space for family activities, and much more. The other pool will still be available for lap swim, open swim, and certain classes.

The Rochester Recreation Center offers a variety of community recreation activities all under one roof. The center features two regulation size ice rinks, a gymnasium, an exercise room, and an Olympic-size pool. The pool is 50 meters in length, with eight swimming lanes. The swimming area features two 3-meter and two 1-meter springboards. The shallow end is also handicapped accessible. 

Cost: Per day fees are $3/youth, $4/adult; 6 and 12 month facility passes are also available.
