Mayowood is the former home of Doctors Charles H. and Charles W. Mayo and was home to three generations of the Mayo family. The 38 rooms are filled with furniture, antiques and other mementos collected by the Mayo family. The 10 acre grounds and beautiful gardens are an added attraction to the site.
Public tours are available from May to October. Guided tours are available for groups of 25 or more throughout the year. Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 15. Purchase tickets at the Mayowood entrance gate 20 minutes prior to tour time. Special Christmas tours are available starting in November.
Tour Schedule: May 1 - Oct. 20: Tue & Sat, 11:00 am, 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm
