Larry the Cable Guy brings the “Eat, Drink and be Larry” comedy tour to Mystic Lake Casino Hotel. The tour also features special guest, Reno Collier.
With his signature catchphrase, “Git-R-Done,” Larry the Cable Guy is selling out theatres and arenas across the United States with his “Eat, Drink and be Larry” comedy tour. Larry the Cable Guy entertains audiences with his warm, red-neck humor recounting bizarre family tales and personal anecdotes. He is perhaps best known as one of the southern-style comics in the wildly successful Blue Collar Comedy Tour. The tour’s success led to “Blue Collar Comedy Tour, The Movie”, which premiered on Comedy Central in November of 2003 and at the time was the highest rated movie in the channel’s history.
His first comedy album release “Lord, I Apologize” reached gold status, selling more than 500,000 copies. The CD was number one on the Billboard comedy charts for 15 consecutive weeks. Larry’s DVD special “Git-R-Done,” has sold more than 1 million copies and has been certified platinum. The special originally aired on Comedy Central and gave the network their second biggest Sunday night ratings in the channel’s history. Larry also starred in “Blue Collar TV” a sketch comedy series for The WB Network. More than five million people watched the show making it the second most watched show on television in that time period.
Larry also has had success in the movie industry. He performed as the voice of Mater in the Golden Globe winning animated feature film “Cars.” Larry also starred in the film “Larry the Cable Guy: Health Inspector,” in 2006 and “Delta Farce” in 2007.
Most recently, Larry can be seen in the film, “Witless Protection,” released in February 2008. In this feature film, Larry stars as a small town sheriff who witnesses what he believes is a kidnapping, and rushes to rescue the beautiful victim, played by Ivana Milicevic.
