REDWOOD ROOM
300 First Ave. NW
(507) 281-2976
Every night of the week, a musician or two will be stationed in the corner of the Redwood Room, skillfully serenading diners with a range of tunes from jazz to acoustical to folk to blues. Many musical acts are locals (including several moonlighting docs) but musicians also come from the Twin Cities and Illinois. "Our customers like to curl up around a table and listen. But the music is never so loud or obtrusive that it cuts into conversation while dining," says manager Mark Currie.
RUNNER UP: Whistle Binkies
