About 7 Day Weekend:
Since their debut in 1993, the goal of 7 Day Weekend has been to provide quality rock music with a polished sound and to have fun while doing it! Now the band’s entertainment driven performances are better than ever and have helped propel 7 Day Weekend to a “favorite band” status throughout southern Minnesota and beyond. Over fifteen years ago, four young, ambitious men decided they would form a band. They wanted to play songs that other bands weren’t playing, yet still play popular danceable songs. They have played full-time throughout the United States, booked by the Mark Allen Agency of the Twin Cities. Today, nearly a decade and a half later, though the line up has changed over the years, the current five band members of 7 Day Weekend are still rocking out and entertaining crowds with infectious live shows. 7 Day Weekend band members include Jay Wells on vocals and guitar, Mark Watson on guitar and vocals, Billy Sheldon on bass, Kevin Anderson on keyboards, guitar, and vocals, and Erich Winter on drums. Due to the genuine fun this group has on stage, their performances are laced with spontaneous energy that can’t help but spill over the audience. 7 Day Weekend performs their shows in the genre of late eighties and early nineties rock music, mixing up some of the latest music as well. The band performs songs from artists such as: AC/DC, Van Halen, Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Journey, Poison, Ozzy Osbourne, Godsmack, and White Zombie just to name a few.
